Another obscure, but classic Doo Wop song

Ask any oldies lover to name one song by a group called The Dreamlovers and I'll bet you a case of your favorite beer that they will reply - "When We Get Married" - one of the few hits by this group to chart in the weekly Top 100. In my humble opinion, their best song was: "While We Were Dancing". Candidly, it was not until 2004 that I discovered this song on a British MP3 oldies website. Needless to say, I tracked down a CD containing the greatest hits of the Dreamlovers in order to own a righteous copy of the recording. The melodies of most Dreamlover songs incorporate a unique "bubbling sound" that could be considered a signature sound to their musical accompaniment. It makes it easy to pick out Dreamlover songs from the rest. The words of this song recall the memories of a 50's sock hop, the last slow dance of the night:
