Go figure . . .
A recent illness brought me back into contact with the medical community. It's been a long time since I last experienced doctor visits, kept lab appointments, and saw a specialist for treatment.
During my hiatus of enjoying relatively good health, I noticed that my health insurance premiums increased, sometimes in double digits.
I'm here to tell anyone who will listen that an increase in health insurance costs holds no guarantee that there will be a corresponding increase in health services, unfortunately, quite the opposite is proving true. Can't make it at McDonald's? Try being a medical receptionist!
