Lions 23 - Bulls 13

Penn State wins their opener 23 -13 inspite of 3 turn overs. Tony Hunt #26, PSU running back, provided the Lions with the rushing yardage they needed to control the game. Hunt looked great and had several long runs from scrimmage. I thought QB Robinson's three turn overs would help snatch defeat out of what looked to be a sure victory for the Lions.

PSU's secondary, allowed 2 touchdowns - this is offset by the fact that their excellent defensive play otherwise produced 14 points on turn overs they generated.

Freshman . . . Joe let some of them play . . . and they played well! Keep an eye on #7 Justin King and #2 Derrick Williams . . . these kids have excellent talent and speed.

In another game earlier today . . . TCU upset #7 ranked Oklahoma . . . it is always a sweet day when someone knocks of the Sooners.
