Price of regular gas goes up, and up, and up . . .

The lowest advertised pump price for regular gas I saw late last night was $2.47 (cash price) at a local convenience store. This morning I observed $2.79 as the lowest price (same store) and the majority of other filling stations and stores were at $2.99 (cash price) for regular. I travelled along Route 230 on my way to one of our Harrisburg offices and passed a Hess station where the price for regular was $3.39 . . .

Upon my return from the Harrisburg office, I couldn't help notice that all of the $2.79 signs had been changed to $2.99 in less than 90 minutes. Once the word gets out that $3.39 is being charged, I'm sure many other stations will up their prices before day end.
